Senior Power BI Analyst

Job Description:

• Collaborate with data engineers to identify, acquire, and load data in a mutually agreed manner.
• Liaise proactively with business analysts to discuss potential data quality issues, and options for handling them.
• Build Power BI queries and data models that adhere to best practice principles and optimize performance and enable others to use self-service analytics, including the Q&A feature.
• Adopt rigorous documentation standards for all DAX code and Power Queries.
• Develop Power BI charts and tables in specified formats.
• Use the Power BI canvas to provide intuitive, interactive user experiences, incorporating website design principles.
• Implement appropriate data security for assets, records, and queries, including row-level security and data sensitivity.
• Utilize the Power BI service to share assets and assign appropriate levels of access.

Prepare documentations on:

• Power BI files delivered to the clients.
• Internal processes
• Train processes for new recruits into the managed services function.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any related.
• At least 2 years full-time hands-on experience in all aspects of Power BI.
• Microsoft Power BI Analyst or Data Analyst Associate certified, having passed exam PL-300 or DA-100 with high marks.
• Extensive organizer with keen eye for details.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to write detailed documentation.
• Resourceful with learning, developing skills and knowledge of new tech.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 2 years of experience
