  • Job Summary

    Oversees the service department operation ensuring that customer’s service needs are met accordingly to their desired expectation and quality. These tasks include hiring, training, managing and firing employees, as well as serving as their department's main contact with factory representatives and will control costs within their department and create marketing plans. Must keep detailed service and inventory records and act as a representative for the shop to customers and communicate with executives and owners on the status at all times.

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Performs service duties and supervises and coordinates activities of workers to insure that all upkeep, inventory and vehicle repair is completed in an efficient manner.

    Responsible to incorporate the “best practices” theory and assists in the disciplinary or promotional recommendations required for all service personnel.Responsible for the subsequent training of all service, housekeeping and admin staff.

    Performs equipment inspections and does ordering of service shop supplies.
    Performs other duties / tasks as assigned by immediate superior.
    Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

    EDUCATION

    Graduate of a 4 years Course Mechanical or Automotive related course.

    EXPERIENCE

    With 2-4 years experience in warehousing and warranty.

    With 3-4 years related experience in automotive industry with background in parts inventory, marketing dealership and service

    With 3-5 years experienced in Service Advisor/Supervisor/Manager in the automotive industry.

    KNOWLEDGE

    -Knowledgeable in using and reading parts catalogue in automotive industries.

    - Knowledgeable in warehousing and inventory

    -Knowledge of Parts Inventory, Vehicle scheduling and warranty; Management and Supervisory Concepts, Customer Satisfaction

    SKILLS

    Computer Literate

    Good verbal and written Communication

    Analytical Skills

    ABILITIES

    Ability to classify parts according to use & location.

    Ability to lead people

    Ability to direct and evaluate personnel in the accomplishment of goals and objectives

    Ability to provide active technical support in the service operation.

    Ability to influence a positive customer experience.

    Multi-task oriented

    CHARACTER

    Self-motivated : Sense of Urgency to take action.
