  • Roles and Responsibilities

    The Shared Services Officer will be responsible for all aspects of customer administrative services and telephone management. The tasks the Shared Services Officer must accomplish includes managing the telephone system, processing customer sales orders, and dealing with customer account enquiries; providing customer product support; and administrating various documents for customer submissions.

    The other key responsibilities and deliverables of the Shared Services Officer are to provide first-class service in answering and redirecting phone calls professionally and promptly between 8am and 5pm Brisbane time, handle and respond to consumer or customer product enquiries or complaints within agreed guidelines or escalate as appropriate, process non-EDI customer orders within agreed processing times, release EDI orders and deal with non-compliance issues, and effectively manage backorders and other order administrative requirements.

    The Shared Services Officer is also expected to provide support to the Sales team with preparation of customer product submissions, customer Powerpoint presentations, and any other administrative requirements; obtain POD’s for customer orders as required; administer and reconcile customer account per requirements advised; maintain software portals with project management administrative requirements (currently Monday.com and Harvest); assist with product benchmarking through online research; complete other tasks as required.

    Required Experience

    - More than 4 years' experience in customer service

    - Experience with ERP software (company uses Microsoft AX and will be migrating to Microsoft Business Central)

    Minimum Qualifications

    - Diploma relevant to customer service
