JOB DESCRIPTION:

Promote and maintain the health of workers; identifying hazards in the workplace and preventing hazardous exposures on the job.

Ensure safe standards within the workplace to prevent injury.

Respond to job-related emergencies and provide on-site treatment to sick or injured workers.

Coordinate health care services for injured workers and counsel workers about non-occupational injuries, as well as facilitate effective communication between injured workers and management.

Interpret and document a worker’s medical complaints using medical histories and diagnostic tests.

Ensure safety standards are met and identify any potential safety hazards in the work environment.

Manage medical records, create emergency workplace preparedness plans, and evaluate health care delivery systems.

Identify, track, and control infectious outbreaks in the site area and develop programs for outbreak prevention.

Maintain medical supply inventories, and manage resources to ensure high-quality care.

Promote strategies to minimize accidents and teach workers about ways to be more responsible in the workplace.

Perform other tasks that may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
• 2 years of experience
• Language(s): English
• Knowledge: Microsoft Excel
• Availability to travel: Yes
• Availability of change of residence: Yes
