  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Implementing action plans to ensure sales objectives are achieved;

    • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships;

    • Making sales calls, setting up meetings, doing presentations in order to gain new business,

    • Develops and manages relationships with corporate accounts;

    • Attends major sales/marketing related functions;

    • Liaising with operations department to ensure cooperation & support with sales department and guarantee revenue opportunities are maximized and actions are aligned;

    • Completes all aspects of the sales process, project management and related administrative tasks.

    • Works closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to determine appropriate sales strategies in all towards maximizing revenues;

    • Active support in developing promotions and packages

    • Performs tasks and assignments based on business directions and operational requirements which are assigned from time to time.

    New Business Development

    • Develop new business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, cold calling, and written communication.

    • Performs at least 6 – 8 quality sales calls per day to corporate, group accounts, and select travel partners and virtuoso agents

    • Prepare information to host ocular visit as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account.

    • Attend industry and social event for networking opportunities and database gathering.

    • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders/principals.

    • Work with DOSM to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

    • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

    Client Servicing and Retention

    • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.

    • Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of closing are complete and documented.

    • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to all departments to ensure high quality of service to group or corporate accounts.

    Business Development Planning

    • Participate in daily briefing meeting and other sales-related meetings as required at MSO and on-site

    • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

    • Present to and consult DOSM on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

    • Identify opportunities for corporate / event alliance that will lead to an increase in sales.

    • Using knowledge of market trends, competition and key target markets and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators that will enhance corporate FIT and group bookings, travel partners and virtuoso agents

    Administrative Duties:

    • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.

    • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s database

    • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met

    • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

    • Work with Marketing Communications Officer to ensure that prerequisites for corporate partnership and sales events (sales kits, marketing collaterals, etc) are fulfilled within a timely manner.

    • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis, weekends and long hours as needed.

    • Perform any other job related duties as assigned by DOSM and GM
