  • Overview:
    The primary role of a technical support assistant is to engage in customer service, technical support and sales assistance.

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
    -Provide Technical service to architects, contractors, and distributors to advice on proper material selection for specific applications.
    -Review of architectural blueprints, details, and specifications to advice on proper material selection for specific applications.
    -Draft specifications and details for architects, engineers, contractors, and distributors.
    -Preparation of technical documents / literature for architects, engineers, contractors and distributors.
    -Preparation/maintaining of Technical Data/Information Sheets.
    -Assist with technical information for Launch kits, packaging bags, articles for press release.
    -Conduct seminars for architects, distributors, contractors and other construction professionals.
    -Investigate/settle customer service & product complaints diplomatically & professionally within authorized limits.
    -Handle input/requests from Sales/field personnel and update job file system.
    -Identify and forward leads to Sales department.
    -Conduct mock-ups on site.
    -Provide on-site seminars/trainings, inspect proper installation method, flag any misuse/contamination/sabotage of our materials.

    Nonessential Job Functions:
    -Performs other directly related appropriate duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.

    Job Specifications/Skills:
    -Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
    -Able to converse with on-site workers.
    -Physically fit to lift and carry with minimum of 20kg.
    -Computer literate.
    -Team player.

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
    At least Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field or on business courses.
