  • Job Objective:
    The TAS Voice Assessor (VA) is primary responsible for evaluating an applicant’s English communication skills proficiency based on standards set and approved by the Company. The VA is part of the Training and Quality team, and would closely work with the Recruitment team in ensuring that the language assessments are properly administered.
    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Assessments Administration
    Follow a set of guidelines in evaluating an applicant’s communication skills. This may also apply for internal applicants who are applying for positions within the company
    Maintain calibration targets to ensure that a set standards are being followed
    Maintain the number of heads targeted to be processed during a set timeframe
    Professionalism and Customer Service
    Should be familiar with the basic skills required for the positions that the company is targeting to hire
    Be familiar with client requirements and assess applicants based on the profiles identified
    Interact with all applicants with the respect that is expected of all Transcom employees
    Documentation and Reporting
    Prepares and submits program reports, as required, in a timely manner.
    Accurately documents the scores obtained or the performance notes based on the interactions conducted.
    Be able to conduct simple analytics based on observations
    Understand and improve the Key Success Metrics
    Regularly calibrate with the recruitment, operations and training teams based on the feedback sent by the Recruitment team.
    Understand the operations metrics that get influenced by communication skills and correlate the observations gathered`
    Job Specifications (Qualifications, Skills and Experience)
    Educational Background:
    University degree or equivalent higher qualification in education or computer science
    Must be able to complete a certification program that is determined by the hiring department
    Skills Requirements:
    It is an advantage to have knowledge on basic HR policies and laws
    Have facilitated or have administered previous language assessments
    Highly proficient in the English language
    Have displayed proven competency in using the language either through interviews, impromptu speeches or presentations
    Strong organizational skills and have the ability to manage priorities
    Has the ability to work efficiently either as part of the team or individually
    Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to deliver clear, concise information and direction to partners and internal teams
    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , any field.
    At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    Applicants must be willing to work in EDSA / PASIG / MANDALUYONG.
    Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Training & Development or equivalent.
