    Responsible for meeting purchasing needs of the Company including planning, requisition, review, supplier, order placement and follow up.

    Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Reviews all received requisitions for goods and services as to completeness clarity and appropriate approval.

    2. Conducts periodic survey of all potential sources of inventory items and come up with at least three canvasses.

    3. Maintains communication with end users and responds to inquiries on requisitions and order status.

    4. Monitors open transactions, such as unserved and returned items, for completion and closing, by follow-ups through phone, letter, or fax.

    5. Advises requisitioning departments for forthcoming price increases in order to take advantage of advance orders.

    6. Notifies immediate superior of any changes in prices of standard items.

    7. Identifies actual or potential documentation and delivery problems, such as defects of purchased goods (direct issue) with end users and takes corrective action or refers to Section Supervisor or Department Head.

    8. Reconciles differences in the specification between Purchase Order and Invoice.

    9. Conducts sourcing of suppliers through phone, internet, and walk-in suppliers.

    10. Recommends supplier for accreditation for section supervisor upon ascertaining that they meet the standards.

    11. Communicate purchasing policies to all requisitioners.

    12. Establishes and maintains business relationships with suppliers and sales people.

    13. Maintains proper filing of all pertinent documents related to Purchasing (Purchase Orders, Proposals, Quotations, and others).

    14. Maintains record book in releasing of office supplies.

    15. Ensures that resigning employees returns all issued office supplies / materials prior to initially signing the clearance.

  • Minimum education level: Bachelor´s Degree
  • Years of experience: 2
  • Language(s): Tagalog ,English
  • Knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Learning, Customer service, Communication and persuasion, Initiative, Negotiation, Customer Support
  • Availability for travel: No
